When I saw it from my window, I thought this is a bad idea

there will be a catastrophe or something

But actually ...

They managed without problems!

Summer is coming!

But I don't care it's hot in my home :-)
Since 2 years I am in Mongolia I don't remember it to be so hot so early!

And when you go outside the tunnel then they have decorated too!
Since this is my bus station and I never know when the bus is leaving I just took quick pictures!

When I go to take the bus I use a passage/tunnel go get there (better than crossing the street a real nightmare!)
And they have recently decorated it!

I let you appreciate all the different design!

Nice present

I had a dinner with some friends and we met one of their friend!
She was there for a mongolian-german event
And for the occasion she gave us some presents.
I think her son has open a new souvenir shop and he is doing it by himself

This is a beautiful mongolian oracle/divination game
I really love it!
Now I need to go to this shop and see what they have :-)

Inflation

Since I am back in Mongolia the inflation is just crazy, all the prices are increasing and sometimes every week.
And since my salary is not increasing I am buying a lot :-)
These are 5 kg noodles, should be enough until I leave!

Hare I have 3 kg porc and 3 kg beef!
All bought in the market for still a reasonable price!

2 kg chicken, bought in a supermarket!

And my beef again.
Just some example:
1 liter milk when I came to mongolia 1600 Tugrik, today 2400 Tugrik: +50%
1kg porc 10 000 T, now 11 000: +10%
Yogourt: 3000 T, now 4500T: +50%
Toilet paper: 400T, now 650 T: +62%
and I can continue with everything!

Bus ticket was 400 T now 500 T: +25%
I would say for the moment the inflation is between 25% to 50%
This is just crazy!!!
Luckily I have no luxes taste so that's ok, but if it continues like that this will be a catastrophe for the country...

I am very happy!

My dinner

Last night I was lazy so I bought a pirosky and a munton buuz.
Both have meat inside of course, are very good but kind of very fatty!
But once in a while it won't kill me right?

Farewell from Dolly

My friend and colleague Dolly (On the right) is leaving for Korea :-(
Even if I am sad I wish her all the best.
So in this occasion we had a farewell lunch/dinner, well actually it was at 4 pm so I don't know what this is :-)

Oh by the way the woman on the left is me, I have a new haircut!!!
It's cool but required a lot of work :-)

Oh yeah the lunch/dinner was pizza, chicken, sweats, apple, mandarin, well in one word great!
