Do you speak japanese?

I was at the supermarket (supa) to buy my dinner box (bento) and and went to pay. The cashier forgott to give me my chopsticks (hashi) to eat my bento. What a shame right ??? :-) So I ask him in japanese please can I have some hashi. He looked at me with million of question marks in the eyes. So I repeated, still in japanese: his eyes were still questioning. So I decide to mine it: hashi with the finger, me eating and then yeah he understood and told me: Chopu sticku! Me yeah chopu sticku! Why am I learning japanese??? Just put an u to english word and that works!!!!!!
This is the supermarket where I go the most!

Bus en folie

Let me explain you how a bus ride is working in Japan!
First the busses are mostly always on time, so you just wait for the desired bus at the desire time (well except to today with 40 minutes delay, what's happening??????)
Then you enter on the back side and there are 2 possibilities:
you have a card (kind of money card) then you just put it on the sensor
you don't have then you take a ticket with a number, that will tell you later the price
and then here you go!
You seat peacefully waiting to come to your destination, but NO you cannot sleep, why????

Because the driver is speaking all the time and when not him some electronic voice!
First the voice: tells you welcome you are in this bus, at each stop, tell you the name of the stop and I think the next one. This one is  ok!
But the driver he tells you welcome at each stop and bye bye when you go. When you press the stop button also he tells something AND he describes everything that he is doing: I stop at the traffic light, I turn right, I go on the highway, I wait, I stop my engine!
Oh yes because when there is a wait more than 2 seconds they stop the engine! Which is killing me every time! Please just go!
Well the driver is speaking almost without interruption! when you survived it then you exit in the front, put your card at the sensor or put the exact money with your ticket in a box.
Yes but if I don't have the exact change!!! Easy, you can convert your money or bill and then you have the change.
And by exiting of course you have a bye from the driver :-)

Last days in Mongolia

For my last days in Mongolia, after a big trip to Gobi a day trip to big Genghis khan!
This is around 60km away from UB they have done a huge statue. I have been there last year already but I just love it there!
They also have the project to do a lot of these status, 100 000, and if you pay around 5000 dollars they will do your face!
inside the big shoe
and outside the big Genghis!
Actually there they should do some tourist camps and attractions, but for the moment this is still empty ...
Really nice statue!!!!
and here some pics taken from the very good and cheap restaurant!
Pics from the people visiting!
You can dress like a soldier!
This is a mongolian family, I love the red deel!
This is a kazakh family, I like the clothes too!
and this is the entrance door!
After that the following pictures are not for everybody, be careful!
Mongolia is a very dangerous country: full of Mongols (ouhhhh terrible), wild animals (wolf, bear, fox, ….) so I have decided to defend myself.
Just a few things: 1 gun, 1 knife and 2 rifle!
You have to be ready just in case!
Look in case of danger this is my defense!
and this is my training!
ok ok I am joking! I am doing target shooting!
You don't need guns in Mongolia!
People are very nice, maybe the animals, but I couldn't shoot them anyway!
And even if this is only the 2nd time that I do it (no joke) it appears that I am pretty good!
I am very happy about that and want to do it again!

So that was my last days in Mongolia, next post about Japan!
But don't worry I come back in August in Mongolia!
