This is chicken with mayonnaise sauce, rice, soup, pickles and all that for 420 yen!!!

This is chanpon, a soup made with meat bouillon and milk with many things on the top

And one day on the weekend I wanted a burger, this is the result
Burger ok, fries delicious and melon soda perfect!
Food in Japan is just delicious!!!!

Ok I am late...

Ok I am really late, but there was halloween in Fukuoka!
Japanese people love these kind of festival, so there are decorations everywhere, they get dressed up, there are parties, ...

And this one was not for halloween but for some other occasion that I forgot

But it was very nice, more peaceful than halloween!

This is to be found in an underground shopping mall!
Ok great when this is raining or cold outside!

Yatai

A yatai is a speciality from Fukuoka.
Every evening small cars are coming and inside you can sit and have a drink and a dinner

They just cook in front of you

r you can have some ready food like Oden, this are cooked vegetables, meat, eggs, ... in a soup
A Japan speciality

I took some yakitori ramen, some fried noodles

Here he is doing a pizza.
There are dozen of these yatai in Fukuoka, they cook different food, this is great fun!

Fukuoka Basho day 1

Hokaho is a nice sumo that I had the change to meet
And first win!!!!

Asahisho like salt, one kilo disappear!

And hop on the sky!!!

When we looked at that my neighbors a girl had the following comment:
いぱいおしりを見られる
Literally: wouah we can see a lot of butts!!!!

This first day was really great, a lot of great fights!

I like Tokitenku, he is always giving a mean look!

Hakuho all in red, beautiful!

Arawashi a Mongolian of course!!!

This one too was a really great fight!

And now my favorite sumo on the right, Tochinoshin!

Hiking at mt. Shitennou

Yesterday was an holiday in Japan, so with the school we went to a small mountain to do some hiking

Before this mountain was covered with a castle and you can see some remains

There is also a lot of statues of Buddha, they have numbers because people visit them all to get good luck

At the top there is a buddhist/Shintoist temple, pretty rare it seems

There you can see a lot of figurines

And there you can pray for whatever you want

Hiking in the shadow, good because the sun is pretty strong...

And final present a beautiful view of the city of Fukuoka
It was worth it!
