Weather

Well the weather in Mongolia is really terrible!
For example last week we had a snow storm!

and everything was white again! Then nice weather again, and just now another storm, maybe dust!
Well not easy to follow :-)

Bogd Khaan's palace museum

This is the imperial palace of the king (khaan) Bodg, which is today a museum.
That's him and his wife.

The palace is really beautiful, even if this is in the middle of UB this is very peaceful.

The style is chinese because actually the king is from Tibet...

I particularly  like the doors with great paintings

I particularly like this one, has the monkey a bra? Why is his breast so white :-)

Dragon that you can find everywhere

That is protecting gods at the entrance of the palace

and that's the pattern on the roof of the rooms

as well as this one.
Inside, where I cannot take pictures there are many many different golden buddhas.
You visit also the apartments of the Khaan, with a lot of stuffed animals, this museum is really beautiful (I said it already!)
I think I may go again there!

oh yeah I am better and better, now I can make one of the traditional mongolian dish: buuz
I am very proud!

Sunset

In Mongolia what I like the most are the beautiful colors in the sky.

This sunset was particularly beautiful

With all the nuance of red, orange, purple

really nice, right?

There is no Starbuck in Mongolia, well not yet, but maybe soon since a KFC is opening soon!
But you can buy Starbuck coffee everywhere or drink something in a Starbuck cup!

And you can also eat very big american style pizzas!
Really delicious, really great!
