Last night in Fukuoka

Today is my last day in Fukuoka :-(
After a good onsen you deserve some nice food pictures!
This is from my supermarket, and when I go around 8/9pm I have always reduction!
Great deal!!!!

An avocado/shrimp pizza big happiness!!!

And this from vie de France… Pita bread with shrimp/avocado, yes again and a delicious melon soda that goes with a melon bun!
Is that not fantastic????
Tomorrow Nagoya :-) Sumo sumo sumo!

Next to my bus stop there is a convini (small supermarket) and there you can park your dog, because they are not allowed inside!
How nice is that!!!
So far I have not seen a dog there…
Still hoping!
Everything is so organized in Japan!

Yatai!

In Fukuoka in the evening some street's restaurant are getting installed. They are called yatai.

So with some classmates we went there one evening.
There are different type of food that you can choose from a menu or just by looking.
That time we had some fried noodles!
The restaurant is in a car, they cook inside

and you just seat on the outside.
It can get very crowded but it's a chance to meet interesting people!

And that was the dinner!
Usually japanese people have it with some sake :-)

It was a long day!

Yesterday was an holiday in Fukuoka and a very long day!
It all started at 3am! Quick quick shower and then the bus at 3am41!
The bus was crowed and why that? Because there was a matsuri (sort of Japanese carnival starting at 4am59 exactly!
And what is it????

It's this kind of half-naked men making a run carrying a "car" around the city!
This is very japanese tradition these kind of clothes or non-clothes?

This is the car they carry!

There are 7 different teams and they all make the run after each other

It is mainly men but the small kids can be girl as well!

It is a matsuri for the sea, because Fukuoka is near the see!

They do that every year but so far I was never there! Finally made it!

There is really a big crowd coming so early for that event.
This is really nice ambiance!
They also throw water at the guys but even so early this is so hot so that's ok!

Of course because you are in Japan there is food, but it was really too early for me!

This is a bigger version of what they transport, but it seems it was only there for decoration, not sure….

This is a japanese game for the kids!
You have a paper spoon and you need to get the fish!
With the water the paper get dissolved but kids manage to get fishes that you have the pleasure to take home after that!

Another japanese thing! Dogs in a kid's car :-)

There was also some go show, but if you remember this is not what I prefer...

After that a small visit at a free museum (yes it was like 6am30!)
This is the god of fortune, very important!

After that small breakfast! Iced cocoa and sandwich!
But you are wondering, why don't you go home now and sleep?

Well because the day is just starting!
After that school trip in Karusuto. This is a fishing city famous for the fugu, you know the expensive fish with poison!

There at the market you have frsh fish and fresh sushis!

After that back home late and really tired, it was a long sleeping night, but I have survived the day!

At the beach!!!!

Finally with my friend we went to the beach near Fukuoka!
This is a really nice location with clear water!

We went there in the morning, had a swim, some sandwiches!
Really like paradise!

After that kagigori!

This is some shaved ice where you put some sirup on the top!
Mine was mango and condensed milk!
This is just delicious!
And why I am in the dark???
Otherwise you would be shocked by my red color….
Still hurting today, bad bad bad...
