Tanabata Festival

This sunday is the tanabata festival.
This is a legend (probably coming from China): A god has a daughter that works a lot but want to get married. He find her a good boy. They fall in love so much that they stop working and do nothing else than being together :-)
The god decide to separate them and only once in the year the 7July they can meet from evening to the morning on the milky way!
So today is the day where they meet.
And in Japan we write 2 wishes on paper (these are mine) and we put them on a bamboo tree.
We also make some decoration for the tree.
Actually it seems easier then this is, we had a lot of troubles doing these 2!
This is one of my teacher Machiko doing some nice ones!
and if you want to do it, here are some explanations!
Good luck!
That's the one from before
a lantern
and the boy and the girl, really not easy!
the ones from a classmate!
and then hop in the tree!
these are my 2
and the decorated tree!
and me with the decorated tree :-)
So Tonight watch the milky way and make a wish!
