congee

In Japan, often you have a menu outside and then you go to a vending machine to buy your meal.
Hopefully there are some pictures!!!

This time we went to a chinese restaurant to have congee.
We have some herbs and some meat gelee to put inside...

and that's the congee. This is a rice porridge with some filling. Mine is with chicken!
I had that in Taiwan too, I just love it!
