At the beginning a lot of kids were doing some sumo.
look at them so small and so cute!
I went there with 2 friends of mine, Joel and Jens (a big sumo fan too!!!)
After that there was a Shintoist ceremony.
they were playing some music
But actually this ceremony was more a weapon ceremony
this is the big priest.
The colors there were just extraordinary!
They burned some wood and after the priest was blessing us with the smoke (a lot of smoke).
They were singing, kind of indian song, no?
andddddd….. yeah sumo.
From the right: Asahisho, Harumafuji (the new Yokozuna from Mongolia) and Aminishiki.
The main priest also doing the blessing.
and like every festival in Japan there was some food.
Tako yaki one of my favorite!!!
And after that the sumos were fighting with the kids!
that was extraordinary to see the pleasure of everybody, sumo included!
Look at them playing
this kid was my favorite!
Maybe he will go far!
Fighting against the Yokozuna, what an honnor!
Look at their faces:-)
Asahisho was also so good with the kids!
Look at him in the video, a real showman!
And the pleasure of Harumafuji
And mine with the watching of sumo, ceremony and the food.
That one too was delicious!
You can find more pics there :Tamana
