Happy new year!

Happy new year to everybody!!!
There is a tradition in Japan, you send some new year's card.
So at school we have designed our own one.
Mine is a bit ugly, but it's done with the hart, so I guess this is ok!!!

This is the address side, also there it is written from me with kanjis, not bad !!!

This one is the one I have received, looks a bit better!

So once again happy new year 2013 to everybody!!!!

a day trip in Yufuin and Yume bridge

Today is a day off at school, so we went to Yufuin first to make some floral postcard.

this is my postcard after the press, not bad!!!

This is the boys's team, very concentrated, good results!

This is the girl team, good results as well!!!

This is my page keeper, not bad too :-)

After that with Celine and the teacher Tomoe we have been to an onsen, very good because it was snowing and this is freezing cold there!
And after a good lunch direction the suspension bridge.

there it was no more freezing cold but hell cold!!!

but as I said freezing cold so we have seen it very very quickly :-)

But still amazing, but quick quick to go back to the bus!

Nou/Noh/能

With 2 friends of mine (mic and Céline) we have been to the Nou (noh) theater.
This is a japanese traditional theater.

Inside it always looks like that, this is the main part

and the side from where the actors are coming.
I was thinking there are only men, but there there was women too, so I don't know...

Jacques Chirac was in one of the play :-), this is not Noh because it was a funny one, this is called kyogen. This is a different style.
This was a story of a guy wanted to drink for free and act like a god (with the mask) to get it!

The actual Noh was this play, story of a priest (the guy) saving a girl sold by mean people.
Between the main play, there was some singing, traditional music and dancing.
That was really nice, but 3.5 hours and I had to say, because they were speaking a lot, I fall asleep, but I tried not to snore, so I think this was ok :-)
This is really worth to see it once!!!

Christmas!!!

Yesterday was christmas, Merry christmas to everybody!!!

For lunch I had this, see the chicken is a merry christmas one :-)

And then for dinner I had a pizza party with my friends Ayano and Masako!!

and for the desert it was Mont blanc!
Now I have eaten too much, I need to rest a little bit :-)

but what is that????
hehe this is something terrible in Japan!
his is all you can eat!!!!! And sometimes it goes with all you can drink!
So since it's Christmas time I have done several of them!
One was sweat paradise (I let you read the explanation :-))

as it's name says it's sweat!!!

then I have done all you can eat barbecue, wouah love that one!!

and then I have done all you can eat at Asahi party with my friend Celine and her host family for christmas!!!

this one was also incredible!!!!

this chicken was fabulous!

but the highlight was the crab a volonte!!!!

Oh no I managed more :-)
But after that I have to eat less, hum new year's eve is coming….
Oh well I will see!

Demonstration of kendo

there was a kendo demonstration at school.

I know he is white but still very good!

Kendo is a traditional sport (??? not sure about that because the goal is to kill people:-))

for that you use wooden katana at the beginning and then the real one, but you have to be careful with that!!!

Was nice, but I don't think this is for me, I will be scared to cut one part of myself with that!!!

what a dinner!!!!

When my japanese friend Aki comes to Fukuoka we always go for an extraordinary dinner!
This time was a motsu nabe (that the intestine)

and this was a salty fish

and that's the motsu. we were in a traditional japanese restaurant and it was delicious and great ambiance!
And the motsu nabe is just a dream!!!

But my friend really loves to eat so we went to another restaurant to have fresh fish.
When I say fresh this is really fresh: they fish it in front of you and prepare it.

it's sashimi at the top.
We also ate the leaver of the fish in the sauce with the meat of the fish.
And then with the rest of the fish they have prepared a miso soup.
All that of course with hot nihon shu
well what can I say, delicious food, great evening:-)

Last days in Tokyo

So our last days in Tokyo were visit, visit, visit!
This is the Tokyo tower, my parents went upstairs, I stayed downstairs!

And after that Akihabara, the electric city!

this is a place in Tokyo were they sell all kinds of electric goods

So this is full of lights and noise
but very different from what we have in europ!

I like this view!

But after that we needed to go back to France a little bit!
So direction vie de France cafe for hot chocolates and pain au chocolat and other delicious things!

The next day we went near Asakusa to see where they sell the fake plastic food and you see at the entrance of every restaurant

This is really impressiv

So much and so realistic!
And that was also the only day where it was raining a bit, otherwise lucky all the time!

and of course some good food for lunch!
Now I'm back to Fukuoka, my parents have still one day in Tokyo and then back to France.
This was a great time, a lot of visit, lunches and 4 o'clock breaks!
