a day in Yanagawa

Last week-end with some friends of the school we went to Yanagawa, a small city not so far from Fukuoka.

So the main point to go there is not to see beautiful autumn colors...

not even interesting hats

but to do a boat trip on the river (gawa= river!!!)
This was our boat drive (not sure about the name!!!)

and this is the kind of boat you are sitting in.
We were lucky because it was the first day were they had the blankets in the boat, this is quite cold now in Japan!

So the driver drives, sings and explains some things and even sometimes in english!

You can see nice things along the river:
a poet

some fishing net

some nice trees!

and after that a small walk in the city
Nice place to sleep right?

and of course a great great lunch, because it was cold there!
delicious and really cheap!
