Yesterday was the national day of Taiwan and we went to Wulai.
Like everywhere in Taiwan you have street food. And in Wulai the pork is famous!
This place is also the home country of the Atayal, some aboriginal people.
You can visit a nice free museum about their lifestyle
and again some street food, yes this is very important!
What is also famous there is the hot spring
You just go on the river and very very hot water is going out, but the river is cold so you have to mix!
and people there don't really swim, they just soak in the water pretty dressed:-)
This is the atayal, they have some facial tattoos.
Men and women that have more tattoos (women are always stronger!!!)
they have also a lot of bananas
because as you see this is very tropical climate!
they have also a very nice waterfall
and they smoke pipe :-)

but back to the food: this is cooked sticky rice
sweet potato with honey
and the sticky rice with peanut and honey, delicious
and some meat sticks prepared with a lot of energy:
but delicious too :-)
there are also a lot of cats in Taiwan as well as some fatty dogs :-)
But the cats are cutter!!!
and for the evening I bought some almond milk, I wanted to try seems to be a speciality here.
It's quite heavy taste but nice!
